  • Welcome to OA

Do you have a tendency to overthink things? Is your mind always busy? Do you find it hard to switch off?

Welcome to Overthinkers Anonymous. OA is a club for smart people who get in their own way. It's designed to help you make peace with your busy mind, and take courageous actions to create a more fulfilling life.

I added 'Anonymous' to the name because many of the people I work with suffer in secret. By day, you wear your professional mask. But at night, it's a different story. You lie awake at 3am with racing thoughts.

It's time to change all that.

It's short. It's honest. Sometimes it's funny. It always offers fresh insights and practical tools.

Join hundreds of overthinkers getting out of the loop (and into movement.)

Includes your free download: "The Busy Mind Rest" - a five-minute tool for calming inner noise and regaining clarity. You'll receive the link in your Substack welcome email.

    Speaking

My talks and workshops help your team break the overthinking cycle - from inside your mind to inside your culture.

I offer keynotes, lunch-and-learns, and custom workshops.

    Teams walk away with:

    • Language to stop and spot overthinking loops
    • Leaders who can model clarity, courage and psychological safety
    • The ability to shift from analysis paralysis to confident action

    Coaching

Coaching helps you shift your habits, show up differently, and lead with clarity from the inside out.

Here are a few client snippets: "Andrew made me realise my thoughts are just thoughts." "I always leave the sessions with a renewed sense of calm." "I feel more confident bringing my authentic voice to the table."

  • About

Hi, I'm Andrew and I'm an overthinker. Well, a recovering overthinker.

For many years I was an award-winning advertising copywriter and creative leader.

On the surface, everything was rosy.

But underneath, I was stressed. My mind was always busy. My heart wasn't in it. I was often awake at 3am with racing thoughts. It got to the point where I was running on fumes.

I knew something had to change, but I couldn't see a way out. I was stuck.

Eventually, I found the courage to speak to someone. I hired a coach, learned to make peace with my busy mind and went on to reinvent my career and life.

I created Overthinkers Anonymous because I want to help as many people as possible find freedom from the noise.

For me, this isn't about fixing people. It's about unlearning the mental habits and cultural norms that keep us stuck - and creating a new way of being that's wiser, lighter and more human.
